Description
This Surah, called Al-‘ala, meaning “The Most High”. All 19 verses are written and none are repeated. The first verse is written in the center circle. Verses two and three are written in the inner ring, 4-11 in the small middle ring, and 12-19 in the outermost ring. The verses can also be identified by their Hindu-Arabic numerals found at the end of each verse. A full translation by Sahih International can be read Here. I find this surah especially interesting because it references Abraham and Moses, the old testament prophets of Judaism and Christianity.
هذه السورة اسمها سورة الأعلى. مؤلفة من 19 أية جميعها مكتوبة وغير مكررة. الأية الأولى مكتوبة في الدائرة المركزية. الاية الثانية والثالثة مكتوبين في الحلقة الداخلية, من 4 ل 11 في الحلقة الصغيرة المتوسطة, 12 ل 19 في الحلقة الخارجية.
