Description
This piece is formed entirely using only Arabic calligraphy in the ornamental Diwani Jali script, this Surah, entitled ‘Ad-Duha’, meaning ‘The morning brightness’ is composed of 11 different verses. The first three verses are in the upper horizontal line. The fourth verse is the larger lower line. The other verses read clockwise. For example, the fifth verse is upside down on the left and so on. A translation of the whole surah can be seen below, courtesy of Sahih International. The Hindi numerals appear at the end of every verse. All 11 verses are included, and none are repeated.

هذه السورة، بعنوان – الضحى – و يعني سطوع الصباح وتتألف من 11 اّية مختلفة . أول ثلاث آيات هي في الخط الأفقي العلوي. الآية الرابعة هي الخط الأكبر الأدنى . تقرأ بقية الاّيات في اتجاه عقارب الساعة. على سبيل المثال الآية الخامسة هي رأسا على عقب على اليسار وهلم جرا. ويمكن الاطلاع على ترجمة كاملة للسورة أدناه، من صحيح انترناشيونال . وتظهر الأرقام الهندية في نهاية كل آية. تم تضمين كافة الآيات ال 11، بدون تكرار
