Description
The poem, written specifically for this piece, also comprises the entire subject matter of the piece. The poem is written once from beginning to finish in the background, while the four characters are also illustrated using various words from the poem. The stones being thrown by the Palestinian youths each say “‘Hubb’ which means ‘love’ in Arabic. All of the words are of course written in the Diwani Djali script. Translation below:
We do not throw these rocks with hate.
We throw these rocks with love,
Love for a murdered brother,
Love for a sick grandmother without medicine,
Love for a family we cannot visit,
Love for a world we will never travel,
Love for a freedom we will never experience,
Love for an ancient people.
We throw these rocks with love for Palestine.
إن القصيدة كتبت خصيصا لهذه القطعة، وتضم أيضا الموضوع الكامل للقطعة. القصيدة مكتوبة مرة واحدة من البداية إلى النهاية في الخلفية، في حين تتضح أيضا الشخصيات الأربعة باستخدام كلمات مختلفة من القصيدة. كل الحجارة التي القيت من قبل الشبان الفلسطينيين تقول ‘الحب’ كل الكلمات هي بالطبع مكتوبة في الخط الديواني الجالى, الترجمة أدناه

حب لأخي الذي قتل
